This tutorial is Lesson 4 out of a group of 3D Graphics tutorials introducing users who to the realm of 3D Graphics in Java. The lesson shows us the various methods at our disposable for creating simple, and more advanced 3D shapes. It then goes onto the basics of rotating 3D objects in a 3D environment and after giving a list of pre-made 3D shapes available using GLUT, there are some basic and advanced exercises. Source code is included as well as an Eclipse project file. Also provides a link to Lesson 1 for those needing help setting up a JOGL Frame. |
